Implementation in Progress
Habitat-Wide Digital Transformation — proven in Waco, Texas
Habitat affiliates spend too much time managing software and not enough time building houses.
1,100+ US Habitat affiliates share similar frustrations: fragmented tech stacks, identical compliance responsibilities to Habitat HQ, and frustrating software that makes administration the job taking away from the mission. We built the fix in Waco. Now we're bringing it to the affiliate network.

The Executive Director had seen this pitch before.

Waco Habitat's Executive Director had worked at the affiliate since 1996. Reliant on proven spreadsheets, he had given up on modernization after a technology vendor wasted his time years earlier. He came into the first call with Banjaxed skeptical.

At Banjaxed the conversation doesn't start with software. We start with asking, "What does your affiliate actually do?" Through understanding the operations and requirements of his team, we distilled their every day, across every program, "to build and maintain relationships with families, donors, and the community."

"You didn't get into this work to become a technology company. Technology should free you to build more relationships, not give you another job."
Wesley Owens, Banjaxed Solutions

For the Executive Director, there were two critical risks hidden beneath the surface. First, institutional knowledge restricted to one person is a liability, and they become single points of failure. That person can't go on vacation, retire, or even work on new initiatives. Second, the multiple software tools he relied on were niche, small, and fragile. Any one of them could easily go under and take years of data with them.

Salesforce isn't going anywhere. And once the consolidation case was clear, it was straightforward: six platforms replaced by one stack, at lower total cost, with every data point in the same place.

The Executive Director is already introducing us to other affiliates.

Before 6 disconnected platforms

No shared data. No cross-system reporting. Each platform has a separate subscription, login, and failure point.

After 1 unified Salesforce platform

Two tools you won't find anywhere else in the Habitat space.
Conversations for Salesforce Banjaxed IP

Native SMS inside Salesforce. No third-party inbox, no integration to maintain. Donor outreach, auction bid alerts, and volunteer communications all trigger from the same record that tracks the relationship. Built and owned by Banjaxed.

SyncBridge Auction Engine Partner Build

Custom online auction built by SyncBridge on Storeconnect, contributed at no cost to Waco Habitat as part of the partnership. Bidder registration, automated close, and tax receipt calculation all live inside Salesforce. SyncBridge retains it as proprietary technology to license across the affiliate network.

Built to replicate. Every US affiliate submits the same compliance reports to Habitat International four times a year. Most affiliates run a ReStore. Every affiliate manages donor relationships with a tech stack that was never designed to work together.

We built this once for Waco, documented every decision, and we're bringing it to the Habitat network. If your organization is still duct-taping platforms together, we should talk.
